Developers

The PostRank API was created by AideRSS to let users and partners add PostRank functionality to their own projects in new and exciting ways. The API is versioned and designed to provide data in a form that can easily be integrated into your application, site or widget. The API is provided free of charge but its use is subject to acceptance of the API License Agreement.

You can retrieve the PostRank, or the Top Posts for a given Feed ID. In addition you can retrieve an augmented RSS Feed with the PostRank RSS Extension included for each item.

All calls to the API are via REST style HTTP requests and you can specify an XML, JSON or plain text response format. There is an additional option to include a JSONP callback. See our growing list of API libraries below.
